Our visit takes us through three of the better known resorts located in the Kolpos Malion Bay, east of Hiraklion in Crete. We start with Stalis, with its fine, sandy beaches and varied selection of bars and shopping outlets which follow the road just behind the beaches. Less hectic than Malia, Stalis has much to offer both couples and familys of all ages. The bars and restaurants continue all the way to neighbouring Malia. Better known for its night life and clubs, Malia also has some fine beachs and on the outskirts can be found Potamos Beach. Probably one of the cleanest beaches in Crete, Potamos was awarded a blue flag in 2011. Our journey finishes in Sisi, before the road winds up the past the monestary at Selenari and onto Elounda. Sisi has a very pleasent Poert set in a natural inlet and fringed with Tavernas and bars. Theres a small beach area on the edge of the Port with a larger one located to the East of the town.
